When I saw the Nightster for the first time on the Harley site I was in love.
I HAD to have one and the only color
that would do was Vivid Black.  After
visiting and calling around to nearby
H-D Dealers only to hear that no one
could get exactly what I wanted, I called the Salem H-D.  They did not
have one in stock, but were not going
to let me down.  They found one in a
matter of days in Washington.  They
had it shipped to Salem!

On June 30th, 2007 the whole family,
 including Grandma Joyce jumped in
the Excursion and headed up to
Salem with an enclosed trailer we borrowed from a friend. When we got there we met up with Kirt's cousin, Yvonne who works at the H-D dealership and had lunch at Baja Express.  We then headed over to Salem Harley-Davidson to pick up the Nightster.  After a few
hours of paperwork and shopping
for new leathers and shirts we headed
home. 

The next day happened to be my 31st birthday.  I spent it waxing and riding
my new, beautiful bike.  It was a GREAT birthday!
